The freon in my 94 Yota pickup was still factory original when...


...that truck was killed by a semi in 2008. That was 14 years and counting...

One thing I do with all of my vehicles is run the AC on any slightly warm day during the winter to circulate freon through the system. No idea if it works, but I don't remember ever having to do AC work on any of my vehicles since my 86 Dodge D100 that had the evaporator blow out twice in two years. The first was fixed under warranty, and I said screw it the second time.

Lets just say that POS cured me from ever wanting to buy a Chrysler again. The only thing that tempts me is a Cummins power, but I just don't need a full size truck.
